CVAB (soon to be known as Pier 360) offers a variety of services to support you on your mental health or substance use recovery journey. Our services are led and developed by peers in recovery. Services are offered free of charge and with little or no time constraints.
The West Center in the Center for Community Health Building on the Veterans Administration campus in Vancouver is a safe and sober environment open to anyone wanting to participate in a recovery-based supportive community. We offer a variety of groups and activities to support you in your recovery.
The East Center offers many of the supports as the West Center with an additional focus on furthering your employment and educational goals. Mental health and substance use struggles can often make it difficult to transition back into education or employment settings and the East team will support you achieving your goals.
Our Courts and Reentry team provides peer support services to people seeking recovery. the Courts team expands our reach to participants involved with the criminal justice system, this includes Clark County Therapeutic Courts (Drug Court, Mental Health Court, Veterans Court, Family Treatment Court, Substance Abuse Court, and DOSA) and our Reentry team supports peers in Clark County Jail Reentry that are wanting a life in recovery as they exit incarceration.
The Warm Line is based in Vancouver and operates every evening. There are times when you just need to talk to someone, to let off some steam, or sort through your day. We listen and offer reassurance that you have been heard and things can be better. (360.903.2853)
HARPS assist individuals in finding and maintaining a safe and affordable place to live while promoting personal growth and wellness. HARPS supports are non-clinical, because we draw on common experiences as peers to provide empowerment, guidance and encouragement to take responsibility and actively participate in recovery.
The goal of Peer Bridging is to offer support to peers who are transitioning from inpatient settings back into their community. A Peer Bridger develops rapport with a person preparing to leave treatment and return to a healthy life in their community as they share hope and encouragement.
